KCC is piloting a new Summer Session to accommodate high school students. The new Summer Session will start on June 15 and end on July 24. We are still working out the course details but we would like to offer ENG 100, PSY 100, ART 101, and HIST 151. I'll keep you all posted. DOE students must go through the Running Start process and private school students must go through the Early Admissions process. Log on to http://www.kcc.hawaii.edu/page/applyprecollege.html for steps and instructions.

The University of Hawai'i at Manoa kicks off its first-ever campus-wide open house to showcase its programs to Oahu high school students from the 9th-12th grades and their parents starting at 8 a.m., Nov. 15, at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Billed as The Manoa Experience, the event has been planned as UH Manoa's premier on-campus academic event of the fall semester — a day of programs and free activities to exhibit all that the University has to offer students from academics to campus activities.
"This is a terrific opportunity for potential students to visit our campus and discover the many reasons they should consider Manoa as a 'first-choice' destination," said UH Manoa Chancellor Virginia S. Hinshaw.
