Great showing at the State Championships this past weekend. Kudos to the girls team for placing 2nd behind Punahou.

Simply Amazing!

What a busy weekend for our students and teachers! Congratulations to our We The People team! They did an excellent job at KCC and will be heading to Washington D.C. in April! When do these students have time to learn about the Constitution? I was so impressed and got chicken skin when one of the judges went on and on (and on) about how our Kahuku students always have an edge because they are truly enthusiastic and passionate about the information and knowledge that they are able to share. Wow!

Next stop was the Scholastic Art Awards....a number of our students getting silver and gold key awards. Vocal Motion performed at the Scholastic Art Awards and Mrs. Hamamoto told me that she had heard Vocal Motion twice in one day and the second time was as entertaining as the first time.

Paddlers went to Maui to participate in their first state tournament. They came in 6th place in the quarterfinals. Awesome!

Basketball boys are still undefeated! Go BIG RED! Basketball girls are still on top! GO LADY RAIDERS!

Kahuku, Punahou shine

Riding out an emotional wave that carried them through the season, Kahuku ran away with its fourth Chevron /Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Girls Wrestling Championship in seven years yesterday at Blaisdell Arena.
