Elections for our 2008 - 2009 School Community Council and Parent Teacher Student Organization are here!

SCC positions needed are:
1 Classified member (2 year term)
1 Teacher member (2 year term)
1 Parent member (2 year term)
The School Community Council advises the principal on specific matters that affect student achievement and school improvement. The group's primary role is to ensures that the needs of all students are specifically addressed in the overall education plan, called the Academic Financial plan, for the school.

PTSO positions needed are:
President
Vice Presidents
Secretary
Treasurer
Members
The Parent Teacher Student Organization supports activities that build communication and partnerships amongst parents, teachers to improve academic achievement and activities include Open House Night, Make a Difference Day, reading campaigns, and college readiness activities.

You may even mark on this sheet what position you are interested in for either the SCC or PTSO then have your child turn it in to the office and we can get the applications to you. The nomination period will close on Friday, May 9, 2008. You may also nominate someone else for a position; please include contact information.
