Last week, I attended the Nu'u Ministries' annual Lumana'i Awards Banquet, a scholarship program for Hawaii high school students of Samoan ancestry.
Last year, we had 2 Kahuku students win the award. This year, there were 4 Kahuku students and one area resident among the awardees. Way to go Ko'olauloa!
